My name is Fernando Garcia, principal here at United D.D. Hachar. Our school is a TEXAS EXEMPLARY CAMPUS for the 2008-09 year. I want to CONGRATULATE Everyone in the BOBCAT Country (Teachers, Students, Staff, and Parents) on this great achievement. This is not only a Magnificent accomplishment for our school but for the great community of Rio Bravo as well.
I have worked with the United Independent School District for 16 years. In 1995-96, I worked as an assistant principal at Matias De Llano Elementary. In 1996-97, I worked as an assistant principal at Salinas Elementary. In 1997-98, I worked as a Silver Team Specialist. In October of 1998, I was named principal of United D.D. Hachar where I am presently working for the district. I've enjoyed working with the students, faculty, staff, and parents of United D.D. Hachar during the last 12 years.
I have a Masters of Science in Education and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary with a Mid-Management and Bilingual Certification. I enjoy my job and look forward to many more years with the district.
