From the Principal

I Strongly believe that, "Every child can learn given the tools to succeed"

My name is Fernando Garcia, principal here at United D.D. Hachar.  I have worked with the United Independent School District for 14 years.  In 1995-96, I worked as an assistant principal at Matias De Llano Elementary.  In 1996-97,  I worked as an assistant principal at Salinas Elementary.  In 1997-98, I worked as a Silver Team Specialist.  In October of 1998, I was named principal of United D.D. Hachar where I am presently working for the district. I've enjoyed working with the students, faculty, staff and parents of United D.D. Hachar during the last 10 years.

I have a Masters of Science in Education and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary with a Mid-Management and Bilingual Certification.  I enjoy my job and look forward to many more years with the district.
